Allegro Doggie Due!

Developed for professional pet groomers, this solution works like a paper address book and calendar.
It is available as a FileMaker (fp7) file or a stand alone application bundled with FileMaker runtime.

F E A T U R E S


CLIENT TAB

A list of your clients is shown on the left page. Those that you designate as "inactive" appear in gray, "problem" customers are in red. The detail page for the record you highlight is displayed on the right. You don't have to search for the client's pets or invoices - they appear automatically on subtabs. You can navigate from client to client by scrolling through the list, using the VCR buttons at the bottom of the detail page, or jumping directly to a client's record by entering a telephone number in the search box. (Very handy if you have caller ID and want to quickly locate a client's record when he is on the phone.)

PET TAB


The Pet tab is similar to the Client tab and cross referenced to it. You can start by looking at a pet's record and jump to his owner, or vice versa. There is also a search box to quickly find an animal by his name. You can store photos of each pet, along with the date and your comments.

CALENDAR TAB

Doggie Due! includes a calendar that is very fast and requires minimal storage space on your hard drive. You can make appointments in the Week or Day views. Quickly jump between views with navigation arrows, or navigate to other dates with a popup month view. Recurring appointments can be scheduled up to a year in advance.

Day page (Click on an appointment on the left; details are displayed on the right. The Services and Fees you enter appear on the Client's invoice.)
Enter the criteria for a recurring appointment here. When you the OK button, the appointment is entered into the appropriate days on the calendar.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Doggie Due! can print invoices and reports. The main reports show invoice totals (for a particular client, or all clients) in the range of dates you enter. Another report summarizes your income by the services you provide, so you can determine which are the most profitable. Everything you print can be easily personalized with your business logo.

I N S T A L L A T I O N

INSTALLATION

The full version is a FileMaker (fp7) file. Simply click on it to start FileMaker, or open it from within FileMaker.

The stand alone version is a zip file. Download it to your desktop and unzip it. Then open the solution folder and click on the application file (the file with the .exe extension in Windows).

 

MIGRATING FROM OTHER DATABASES

If this is your first database (or you just want a fresh start) you can begin using Doggie Due! immediately. Simply overwrite the existing sample records with your own clients, etc. and begin scheduling appointments in the calendar.

If you want to migrate data from your current database, Allegro Data Solutions must do this for you. The standard, hourly rate will apply. Your old application has to support exports in a format that FileMaker will recognize and it is not always possible to migrate every field. The degree of success depends largely on the structure of your old database and how closely it resembles the new one.
